I had written out this long, thought out resignation letter, but I couldn’t post it. Going out in a glorious gout of flames seems a better thing to do.

Watch me light up the sky as I crash and burn.

I feel like its time for me to hit the old dusty trail. I love Bubbles, I love Magnet, I love having this connection with them, but as of right now, this whole RP thing isn’t working out.

I’m barely online, but when I am, either no one is on, or absolutely nothing is going on. I have just lost my drive, my muse has skipped town on me. The will to post and start threads has been dwindling down to nothing.

Percy, Stone, I’m sorry to leave you guys hanging but I just don’t have it in me anymore. I love you both, I really do. You’re bright, beautiful stars that bring a smile to my face when I see you post and I feel awful for leaving in the middle of a thread.

I’ll be around, mostly on my personal blog. I’ll keep Skype up (piratecapnspazz) and AIM (PirateCapnSpazz, TheLadyDracula, or DWN011bubbleman).

Wednesday night we flooded a little bit and just today I finished putting my room back together. We thankfully didn’t get a lot of water, but we got enough to where my desk and bed were buried under things.

At some point, my mouse must have been hit and turned my laptop on, so if Skype or AIM has been saying that I’ve been online at any point in the past few days, it wasn’t true. :c

He clinked his plastic cup against Stone’s and took a sip. It was good, but strawberry wasn’t really his favorite of flavors. Especially when mixed with dairy. But that’s what Stone wanted to learn and so Bubbles was willing to give it another try. That and he had never made a strawberry shake himself. It tasted a lot better than when he’d get it at a fast food restaurant.

Stone smiled a little at that, nodding. “Okay! I’ll try and make the best milkshake ever!” He took the cup and held it up, clinking it against Bubbles’ and downing the mixture, smacking his lips a little. He didn’t have actual food often, but he did enjoy some things, and apparently strawberry milkshakes was one of them.

“This is really good! It’s really cold, but smooth too. What kind of things do you like to make?” He asked curiously. Bubbles seemed to like real food.

“I know you will,” Bubbles smiled. Stone had a milkshake mustache and it made his enthusiasm all that more fun and adorable. He suspected that he had one of his own. “That’s what you really want, is that smoothness. Some people like their shakes to be chunky, but more often than not you’ll find more liking smoother shakes.”

Oh. Bubbles loved food. So much that he was lucky that he wasn’t organic. “I like to make a lot of different things. Mostly easy stuff because there are so many of us. If more than a few want something, it gets to be a hassle.”

Bubbles followed Percy’s cue and ran after him, also dropping several items. Was that a glass jar that fell? Seeing as how Forte didn’t show up (maybe he didn’t have sensors in this kitchen yet?) the escape plan was also thrown out the window and he followed Percy down the hall and the flights of stairs.

When they reached Bubbles’ Kitchen, Bubbles spilled his items on the counter and let out a laugh. They survived! And they have all the foodstuffs! Well, most of them.

“That was ridiculous. We survived. We survived. I’m cooking up this bacon right now!” he took out his pan and turned the stove on. “What should we try first?”

“I DUNNO, MAN, THERE’S SO MUCH- ALL OF IT!!” Percy responded, cackling with glee as he dumped his own items on the counter too and inadvertently squished a few things. Once he’d dumped his load, he disengaged his armour and flopped back into a seat, grinning so widely that his jaw was at risk of falling off. “THAT WAS FUCKIN’ AWESOME.” he said, seeming to be a bit buzzed from the robot equivalent of adrenaline. Percy wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, but he knew a life-or-death situation when he saw one. Usually. “I CAN’T BELIEVE WE GOT AWAY WITH THAT, MAN, JUST- WOW.”

“Man, Forte usually has the best stuff, we’re gunna eat like kings!” Bubbles grin was just as wide. He was putting some of the things into the fridge. “I think I’ll start with these steaks. And maybe… Maybe wrap them in bacon???”

With that stroke of genius, Bubbles preps the oven to bake the bacon. He rubs his hands together, trying to think. The adrenaline from stealing from Forte was still coursing through his programming. What else could he make? Well, there was that nice looking sausage. Or was it bratwurst? Either way, he was going to cook it up. Maybe offer some to Air? He has been rather good and brotherly to him. Oh! And he should make something for Crash; he had saved Bubbles from Metal as much as Air had. Would that mean he would have to cook for that ‘bot he’s babysitting? Or is that his boyfriend? …Hand assistant? Either way he’ll make something for that other guy too. He would make something for Metal, but he all but disappeared again.

“Hey, I was going to make something for my brothers, should we make something for yours?”

Stone nodded, committing that to memory. He could always put more strawberries in, and it would just make it better. He watched the mixture change colours, getting darker and darker. “O-okay! So then you put in ice cream….”
He watched Bubbles scoop out the ice cream, trying to keep track of the size of everything so he didn’t make a mistake. The blender was turned on again, and the concoction suddenly turned into a lighter pink that looked similar to the one he had seen the first time Saturn had been down, when they had gone out for fruit tarts. “Then it turns light pink, and it’s ready to drink…” He nodded, blinking when Bubbles offered for him to try it.

“Me…? Are you sure? I didn’t do much to help, mostly I just watched, and cut up the strawberries. Still, it did look like it would taste good. “… why don’t we both try it at the same time?” he offered.

Honestly if Percy put his mind to it, he probably would’ve been able to just yoink the whole fridge and drag it allllllll the way back with them, but even he wasn’t that stupid. So it was with a wistful look at all the goodies that they’d have to leave behind that he nodded, pushed the door shut with his shoulder pad and promptly made a break for the exit, accidentally dropping even more things as he went. “CHEESE IT!!”

Stone grinned a little at that, please. “I’m glad to hear it!”
He smiled a little at all the laughing Bubbles was doing. Normally it secretly upset him a little when people laughed at him, but he could tell that Bubbles didn’t mean any harm by the look on his face. Mostly he had just seemed surprise.

“I am?” He wondered what he had said that had been so silly. Maybe the ice cream was an obvious thing or something. He didn’t understand human food. It said milkshake, not ice cream and milk shake. If there was ice cream in it, it would make more sense to be in the name, or for none of the ingredients to be in the name.

He gave Bubbles another smile at his comment, then nodded a little. “Okay! That sounds easy enough!” He watched Bubbles add everything to the blender, trying to remember amounts, colours and textures. It was almost mind boggling.

“Um…” He thought about it momentarily. Saturn really liked strawberries, but then he really, really liked milk and ice cream. “Uh…….. well…. I….” Why were decisions like this so hard? Finally, he took a gamble. “More strawberries! So it’s really pink.”

“Sounds good to me, you can’t ever have too many strawberries,” and in went some more. If the concoction was pink before, then this was beyond pink. “I’m going to put in the ice cream and then we can give it a taste.”

Bubbles plopped in three heaping scoops of ice cream and gave the blender a touch to send it buzzing and whirring annoyingly. The deep pink of the milk/strawberry mix turned lighter and lighter as the blender went on and finally settled on a light pink when finished. He popped open the lid and took a look. It looked decently thick and the bits of strawberry that didn’t get pureed looked like they would add a nice texture.

“Do you want to try it first?”
